Acme Packet® (NASDAQ: APKT), the leader in session border control solutions, today announced that leading market research firms, Dell’Oro Group and Infonetics Research, reported that Acme Packet continued its market leadership of the session border controller market in 2007. In their latest reports on the service provider VoIP equipment market published in February 2008, both firms showed Acme Packet as the leading session border controller vendor with market share over two times that of its closest competitor. Infonetics Research reported that Acme Packet captured 51% of the session border controller market based on 2007 product revenue. Dell’Oro Group reported that Acme Packet owned 47% market share based on 2007 revenue.
