Creative Vistas, Inc. (OTCBB:CVAS), a leading provider of advanced video security and surveillance solutions as well as broadband-related services, announced today that it has received approval for research funding from the National Research Council Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP). Subject to the terms of the agreement, Creative Vistas will receive funding in support of research and development activities in Business Intelligence (BI) software. Creative Vistas, Inc. will apply the NRC-IRAP support to qualified research activities of CVAS’ newly formed subsidiary OSS-IM View (OSS-IM). OSS-IM View specializes in research and development of proprietary BI software for CVAS. The Company’s current version of BI software is a leading-edge program that can manage data from over a million multi-faceted transactions fulfilled annually by the Company for its large cable-system customers. Wireless and web enabled, the software provides automated intelligent decision-making for managing customer transactions, vehicles, technicians, supply chains, HR-related functions and other activities.
