Declare Your Independence and Find Your Next Career at the The 2007 Inland Empire Franchise Expo

By: Business News

Could your next career move be just a Franchise Expo away? The 2007 Inland Empire Franchise Expo can answer that question and more, as some of the nation’s fastest growing franchises will be on display for would-be business owners to learn what it takes to be successful in a franchise concept.

Hosting the Exposition is The Entrepreneur’s Source (TES), the country’s leading franchise education and coaching company. Additional sponsors include the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Inland Empire SCORE organization and CHARO Riverside, a community development corporation. The two-day event is scheduled for Friday, November 16th from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 17th from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the Mission Inn, 3649 Mission Inn Ave. in Riverside, Calif.

“We want people to come to the Franchise Expo to learn more about the many business options available to them,” says Roger Brandt, regional developer for The Entrepreneur’s Source (TES). “Education and information is the key to making the right business decision for your lifestyle, goals and needs,” he added.

TES business coaches will also be on-hand to answer many of the questions people have when considering business ownership. Franchise representatives will be at each both providing an overview of the franchise concept available and what it takes to be successful in the business model.

The Showcase also offers an educational panel discussion moderated by local small business support organizations like IESBDC and SCORE. The panelists will be current franchisees from various business models talking about their experience in ramping up their businesses.

On Friday, November 16th Aida Hurtado of the Inland Empire SBDC will moderate a panel consisting of franchisee representatives from CertaPro, Fantastic Sam’s and a TES Business Coach. On Saturday, November 17th Max Bosetti of SCORE with moderate a panel of franchisees including a Town Planner licensee, Pressed 4 Time, and Cash Plus. At the conclusion of the panel discussion each day, a speaker from SD Cooper Company will provide an overview of the 401K leverage possibilities for investment in a business. The panel discussion will be held both Friday and Saturday between 12:00 p.m. through 1:00 p.m.

“This Franchise Showcase complements our mission to work with start-up and existing small businesses in the areas,” says Aida Hurtado. “With franchising being an alternative start-up option, we are happy to partner with TES and provide these valuable resources to our clients and the community,” she added.

Admission to the Franchise Showcase is free, however, advanced registration is recommended.
