By: Business News

Eltek Valere today announced it has been named the eighth fastest growing private company on the Dallas 100™, which is compiled by the Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University. The Dallas 100 recognizes emerging, privately held companies in the region that have demonstrated growth in sales as a result of the aggressive and savvy leadership of an entrepreneur.

Qualifying companies had sales revenues between $500,000 and $75 million in the past three fiscal years and have cleared credit and character checks administered by the governing body of the Dallas 100. Rankings were announced at a dinner on Nov. 7th at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center on the SMU campus.

“Since our early days, the emphasis we have placed on innovative products and exceptional service have led to success with customers and rapid growth in an area that will continue to be a major factor in the telecoms market—power,” said Andy Marsh, Eltek Valere president and CEO. “As Eltek Valere looks forward, we see exciting opportunities to enhance our core strengths, maintain our identity as innovators in the telecom and industrial market, and continue to provide our customers with optimal value.”

With its continued rapid economic growth, the Dallas/Fort Worth area is home to a great deal of corporate success. The SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship has sponsored the Dallas 100 awards for the past 17 years to recognize fast growth privately owned businesses in the community.

The Dallas 100 pays tribute to the vitality and entrepreneurial spirit of the thriving business community in North Texas. Award winners are those companies making significant contributions to the area by generating thousands of new jobs, increasing the tax base, and fostering the Dallas area's reputation as a premier economic development center.
