Eva Longoria was thrilled when she bagged the role of a serious special agent in the movie ‘The Sentinel’, for she was hoping that it would stop people from thinking about her only as a sex-kitten. Longoria, who found fame as the feisty Latina Gabrielle Solis on the hit TV series, said that she was determined to show people that there was more substance to her acting, before they stereotyped her into a particular role. "I wanted to show the audience I was capable of doing something else, before they could only see me as Gabrielle," Femalefirst quoted her, as saying. Apart from a more serious role, Longoria also got the chance to work with some of Hollywood’s biggest names like Michael Douglas and Keifer Sutherland.
