The famous Lord Anjeneya temple in Ananthamangalam near here which houses the unique three-eyed, ten-armed mighty Hanuman idol, is gearing up for the most important festival, Hanumanth Jayanti tomorrow. Thousands of devotees from various parts of the state are expected to throng the temple to witness the special abhishekam and poojas. According to temple sources, special abhishekam would start by three am and will continue throughout the day. Lord Hanuman's idol will be taken in procession in the evening. TNSTC has arranged special buses from Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Porayar, Karaikal and Nagapattinam to Anthanamangalam. Porayar police has made security arrangements.
