Hasler Relocates Operations To Milford, Connecticut

By: Industry News

Hasler, Inc., a leader in mailing, shipping and mail support systems, has relocated to Milford, Connecticut, as part of a long-term plan for business growth and facilities consolidation. The move is expected to enhance internal communications and continue to improve operational efficiencies, which in turn will allow Hasler to improve its already outstanding customer service capabilities.

“We’ve certainly enjoyed our many years in Shelton, CT, but with the continuing expansion and growth of our business, there was a terrific opportunity to finally pull together our operations and take advantage of improved productivity and stronger internal ties that come with a consolidation like this,” says Hasler President and CEO, John Vavra.

The new location in Milford enables Hasler to bring together under one roof its corporate headquarters, with offices for its U.S.-based global research and development group and administrative operations that focus on logistics, warehousing and distribution, and financial services operation.

Hasler has been designing and producing high quality mailing systems for over 150 years. Founded in Switzerland in 1854, the company went on to manufacture the franking machine, which became known in the United States as a postage meter. Today, Hasler is a major presence in North America with an extensive line of mailing, shipping and mail support systems. These include mailing machines, postage meters, folders/inserters, address printers, tabbers, mail sorting and tracking systems, and mail and document management solutions.

A Reputation for Excellent Service and Support

What has always differentiated Hasler from the competition is the unmatched level of service and support provided for customers both directly and through its nationwide network of over 100 carefully selected, independent dealers. Since Hasler dealers are strongly rooted in their towns and cities and are neighbors to the customers, they help keep Hasler personally in touch with customers. It is these dealers who form the durable relationships that continues to lead to repeat business, and their dependability is one of the key reasons Hasler has been the fastest-growing mail processing equipment company in the country.

“Certainly, it’s gratifying knowing we have a reputation for precision engineering and product quality,” continues Vavra. “But this move is a key component in our strategy to further streamline our administrative operations and to enhance our ability to respond even faster and more thoroughly to customer needs
