A visiting International Cricket Council (ICC) team Thursday expressed its satisfaction over the pitch condition and facilities at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium here, one of the venues for the forthcoming ICC Championship Trophy. "Though the pitch looks good at present, it is difficult to say how it will behave," Andy Atkinson, the official ICC pitch consultant for the tournament, told reporters after the three-member team inspected the ground. He appreciated improvements in facilities for spectators and cricketers at the stadium since he visited the venue in April. "A lot of work has been done and things have improved since we visited last time. Things are looking good. The practice facilities are also in good condition," he said. The ICC Championship Trophy will be played between Oct 7 and Nov 5 at Jaipur, Mohali and Mumbai, besides Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad will host five one-day internationals (ODIs) on Oct 8, 10, 24, 26 and 28.
