With Mahashivarathri falling on February 16, the city-based Isha Foundation has drawn up night-long celebrations which would be telecast worldwide. The celebrations, beginning at 5.45 PM with Guru Pooja, at Dhyanalinga- a multi-religious temple at Velliangiri hills, consecrated purely for meditation by Jaggi Vasudev,foundation founder and spiritual leader, would be telecast live by Aastha Channel and beamed to the World. The festival is a unique annual programme of meditation, culture and harmony.The hallmark of this celebration would be the nightlong 'sathsang' with Jaggi Vasudev,guiding the seekers through the spitirual process, a foundation release said today. The meditation programmes would be interspersed with lively and colorful culturual programmes. It would have sublime Hindusthani vocal music by Pandits Rajan and Sajan Mishra, a vibrant Punjabi pop ensemble by Jasbir Jassi and Instrumental ensemble by U Srinivas, U Rajesh (Mandolin) and Peter Locket (percussion).
