LISCON Integrates GraphOn’s GO-Global Client Software into Thin-Client Hardware Line

By: Computer News

GraphOn Corporation (OTCBB:GOJO), a leading worldwide developer of thin-client application publishing and Web-enabling solutions, announced today that it has established a strategic alliance with LISCON, based in Klagenfurt, Austria. As a result of the alliance, Liscon will offer its full line of Linux- and Windows-based thin-client hardware appliances pre-configured with GraphOn’s GO-Global for Windows client software.

“We believe that the addition of GO-Global adds significant value to our TC SL, TC Light, and TC 403 thin-client hardware line,” said LISCON Managing Director Emanuel Pirker. “GO-Global allows easy application deployment with little overhead. It broadens the possibilities of server-based computing to medium-size businesses.”

GO-Global for Windows is a fast, simple, and affordable application delivery solution that provides instant access to centrally-running Windows applications from any location, platform and operating system. With the GO-Global server-centric solution, there is no need to rewrite applications for the Web or deploy complex infrastructure such as Microsoft Windows Terminal Services or Citrix Presentation Server.

“We’re pleased to announce this technology alliance with LISCON,” said Tom Castanzo, GraphOn’s Business Development Director for EMEA. “By embedding GO-Global in their thin-client product line, LISCON has created an attractive bundled hardware/software solution for the European server-based computing market – a market that continues to show strong growth.”

The thin-client, server-based computing market in Austria and throughout Europe is demonstrating substantial strength. According to a recent survey by the European Thin Client Forum (ETCF), the market in Europe is currently booming with double-digit growth.
