Eid-ul-Zoha was today celebrated with traditional enthusiasm and fervour across Bihar even as hundreds of Muslims today visited mosques in the state capital in old clothes sporting black badges to protest against the execution of ousted Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. According to reports, lakhs of Muslims offered prayers at different mosques across the state and exchanged greetings to celeberate the occasion. No untoward incident was reported so far from anywhere in the state, official sources said, adding all the police stations were put on maximum alert to maintain peace and communal harmony on the occasion. In the state capital, several Muslims under the banner of Edar-i-Sharia went to mosques in 'Patthar ki masjid', lamganj, Patna City and adjoining areas, with black badges tied around their arms to protest the execution of Saddam Hussein, state Lok Janshakti Party chief and a prominent cleric, Ghulam Rasool Baliyawi told PTI.
