The Indo-US nuclear deal would hurt India's independent foreign policy and the CPI would adopt a resolution on the issue at its National Council meeting, the party's National Secretary D Raja said today.
Speaking prior to the three-day meeting which began here today Raja said "many things are not acceptable in the nuclear deal with the US. India's independent foreign policy remains a matter of concern in the wake of the deal." "We have become dependant on the US for nuclear fuel and technology," Raja said.
