Celebrity magazine Us Weekly claims that Hollywood sweethearts Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston are engaged, and the magazine is sticking by its story, even though Aniston's publicist has rubbished the report. Aniston's spokesman Stephen Huvane blasted Us Weekly editor Janice Min after she appeared on US breakfast show ‘Today’ on 9th Aug, insisting that the celebrity couple have been engaged for nearly two months. "She is wrong. There is no engagement," Contactmusic quoted Huvane as saying. However the magazine’s executive editor, Ken Baker struck back on a news based programme, ‘Access Hollywood’ claiming that the publication’s sources were better than the publicist’s. "You're only as good as your sources and I would just ask him to check his sources. They are engaged, they are getting married and they are as happy as they've ever been," Baker said. The publication claims that that the couple got engaged on 27 June (06) after Aniston had accepted a proposal from Vince Vaughn as the ‘Break-Up’ actors returned from a nine-day holiday in Puero Vallarta, Mexico. According to the report, Vaughn presented his 37-year-old girlfriend an engagement ring featuring a 500,000 dollars diamond.
